I scooted over to Borders in the mall to see what kinds of books I could dig up. I should've gone over a lot earlier, but I hadn't fully thought about it until today, so needless to say the place was picked over. Grabbed four books, including one by an author I've been dying to read more from, but the options were limited.
At one point I was over in the YA section (I can't hide my love for Gossip Girl books) and a mother/daughter pair were next to me. The girl was complaining about how there were so many books there "based off of the TV shows." and how she didn't want to read them because she didn't like the show, etc.
Aaaaaah children.
