I am a shoe lover. I have often said that I can't buy shoes that I feel so-so about, I have to love love love them to buy them. Some of my shoes are a little out there (can you say gold "snakeskin" pointy-toed heels!?) and some a nice and simple. You get the general idea here.
The whole wedge style was something I eyed warily when I started noticing it hitting it big. Some of the shoes I have seen are just way above and beyond what I think is a shoe that makes sense. I definitely didn't think it would work on my feet.
Aren't they really cute?! I put them on (got them on sale!) and immediately was smitten. The color is actually a little darker than the picture shows, but they aren't too too high and I have worn them twice since I bought them. They are seriously so comfortable! I went along on a tour today (I have to give them on Sunday and have never done one before, YIKES.) and as I am pretty sure I have mentioned, my school is built into a serious hill. We were hiking all up and down this hill, stairs built into hills, in the buildings, etc and I wore them the whole time. Afterwards one of the girls who we gave a tour to asked if my feet hurt, and they didn't! Pretty awesome, if you ask me. Plus, I love what they do for my legs.
Please ignore how completely pale my legs are, and instead look at how nice my calves look!
I really am now down with the wedge.
