So all of my lacrosse teams are out of the NCAA tournament now (or never were in in the first place). My boys lost in an OT heartbreaker, 15-14. M&D were there, and mommy says the goalie, after the game winning shot went in, just sort of curled up in a ball on the ground. Incredibly heartbreaking. If they showed it on the live video feed, I must've missed it, but I don't think they did.
The last of the DIII quarterfinal games is playing out right now, and might be headed into OT as well-my fingers are crossed for Haverford, because they certainly have proven themselves getting as far as they have and to be honest, I love to see anyone take down Salisbury. What an amazing quarters though. Only one game was a runaway game, and I am ok with that.
So while I can watch any game, any time, I am a little less emotionally invested in this years semis and finals. Not that I have gotten to be emotionally invested past this point in recent years anyway.
