So a while while back I talked about this guy, and how I had a big bloggy crush on him. and while I still do enjoy his work and what he brings to my life, he and I aren't together in my mind hasn't been blogging as much lately. Plus, he was drafted by the Harlem Globetrotters, and as a professional athlete, he is now out of my league. Happily, however, I have found a new blog to bestow my affection upon (read: stalk).
I am a pretty big music dork, although I am not quite competent in the whole "discovering the undiscovered artist" field. Thats where, at least for me, Gabe Alonso comes in. Anyone whose most popular blog post tag is "awesomeness" immediately gets all kind of street cred. Because I have the power to give that out. And honestly, any guy that can give me this kind of whiplash and be this interesting is definitely blog-crush worthy. He recently started a Mix-Tape Monday segment, and I am so beyond pumped to see what he and his collaborators come up with.
