(random side note: "Cracked out" is my term for when you're so tired/stressed/whatevs that you basically kind of get slaphappy crazy. But for this post, it is taking on a new meaning.)
So this post actually loses a little bit of it's story because I already talked about how angry Verizon made me with the whole "no, you want this more expensive phone" situation. But that is okay.
I totally (wo)manned up and marched in there the next day and flat out told the girl who was working with me that I wanted a blackberry. I didn't need to be fancy, I didn't need the internet to work at the speed of light, I just wanted what I wanted and that was a pretty pink blackberry so I could bbm people.
She took it rather well.
And she hooked me up! Through chatting, we found out that she went to college with Betbet for a while (point of reference: Betbet would be my other sister. Milty couldn't pronounce her name when she was a baby, and dubbed her Betbet.) and so she was extra kind to me with the whole process. Win!
So now, I have my blackberry. and I lurve it. Even when I sit in front of a computer all day and so I get every work email twice, I still love it. Even when it goes off in the middle of the night because retail stores are sending those emails out then, I love it. And I think my brain/body is learning to ignore those pings. All I know is, I wake up with 4 emails in my inbox that I have "checked" but I don't remember consciously doing so. I love the little D and R that pop up on my bbms. I love having twitter and the fb on my phone. Love love love. eeeee!
And it's pink. With a pink case. So. There's that.
Who wants to bbm?!?!
Who is laughing at me for being so behind the curve on technology??
I can take it, haha.
crackberry-ed out, I tell you. And it's just the tip of the iceburg...
