Took The Plunge.

Waaaay back about ten days ago I took an informal poll here and on my twitter (which you should totally jump on that, btw-I enjoy tweeting while bored at work and while imbibing) about where everyone fell on the idea of buying gifts for yourself. The answer was pretty much a resounding "do it, ya fool!" Except maybe a little bit more eloquently put.

Then the stars aligned and the price of what I had my eye on dropped even further, so I thought "well to heck with it! I'm in." Except maybe a bit more crudely put.

After some seriously stalking of the UPS tracker, I learned that it had arrived and was out for delivery today at 8:24 am. Went home for lunch-nothing. Depression began to sink in. Returned home from work, only to find that darn slip on the door, telling me that UPS had been there but I wasn't home (hi, day job!) but they needed my signature and would be trying again tomorrow. Forget that noise. Immediately called UPS and had them set it up so I could pick it up. Then I headed out to dinner and drinks.

After sweating it out on the deck of a local eatery, I immediately hightailed it over to UPS to pick up my gift. And brought it home and into my waiting hands (along with some pretty awesome tissue paper).

I am so happy and so in love with my new purse!!! Plus it is pretty sizable so I am definitely thinking it will be great this fall while traveling!!!
