So I pretty much failed the whole "hey! Lets try to get back into the swing of blogging!" thing I was going for.

I'm sorry.

Sad sack over here has a big life concern though:

Is anyone else SUPER PISSED that Fox is doing this thing where you have to wait 8 days before it unlocks its shows for you to watch online? (Side note: this wasn't tested with all shows, maybe it's just new ones).

Last week I watched the premiere of Glee (merh. looks like we're sticking with season two's general confusion) then followed it up with The New Girl. 

I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I loooved the roommates, but Zoey's character was just about 5 notches about believable weirdness. Regardless, I was decently hooked.

Then, I had to work this past Tuesday night. And I missed episode two. 'No biggie,' I thought to myself. 'I'll just check it out later online.'

I'm waiting for Archer to come on right now (OH my gosh, love that show-FX Thursdays at 10. I know it's late, but seriously. hilars.) and figured I'd mute Futurama and check out episode 2. I pull up Hulu, and it begins. 'Hooray! She's acting a normal amount of bizarre! She is dressing up as Gala-whoseit I can't spell his name and planning to wear a beard for school! I really think I could be into th-hey. Wait a minute. Why'd it shut off??' (possible actual mental train).

Not to be deterred, I headed over to the Fox website. THEY won't even let me watch the first 1.5 minutes. I need to be a DISH member and sign in, or I can wait 8 days for the show to "unlock".

Brainiacs-8 days? That means if I want to be caught up for the newest episode the following week, I CAN'T BE. So now, I kind of don't want to watch episode three until I've seen episode two, but that means I miss episode four and it's a hideous cycle!!!!
