Middle School Was a Weird Time...

One of my favorite people that I follow on twitter was just posting about finding his old music library and how embarrassing it was. Personally, I don't know that I am ever embarrassed by my music collection. Mostly I just believe that I like (or liked) what I like, and if you don't like it, well that's okay.

Which is why I fully admit to being a Justin Bieber fan. No shame, people. No shame.

So surprisingly, or not surprisingly (since it has to do with music? I'm not sure), one of my better party pleasers is when I share with people that I used to be a big "angry rock" fan when I was in 7th/8th grade. You know. Korn, Limp Bizkit, Insane Clown Posse, Puddle of Mudd, System of a Down, Marilyn Manson....

The usual.

Standard reaction usually involves looking me up and down incredulously and exclaiming, "Really?? you? I never would have guessed that." And I laugh and proceed to share that I'm now a Belieber.

But the thing of it is, I'm still kind of a fan of those groups. I mean, lets be honest, most likely those are not the jams you'll catch me rocking out to. But when Drowning Pool comes on, you best believe I'm having a dance party (albeit an angry dance party) to "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor".

And nothing gets me going like Andrew WK's "Party Hard".

Not even Justin.

EDIT: Hilariosity abounds!!! I signed off on this post and immediately put on Party Hard...only to have it be followed on shuffle by Bieber!!! iTunes has a sense of humor?
