Insert Title Here

This weekend is Green and White Reunion weekend at my high school, and since I am in town and I maybe planned my travel to be in town and it is my 5 year reunion, I will be out and about playing with other alums! Quite exciting if you ask me. I am sure I will return after the weekend is over lamenting how I didn't know what I was thinking and the like, but for now, color me happy.

Remember about two posts ago where I said I was happy because I had road friends but not like real friends because we didn't share numbers or do the FB thing? Scratch that. Officially have road friends that are well on their way to being real friends. As well as having a road crush. As in, I have a crush (I get them A LOT) on a rep from a small southern school and once travel season is over it will probably be a whole year until I see him again. Le Sigh.

On top of that, one of the super perks about my travel is that it creates an ability to see a lot of friends from college that would've otherwise been pined for but never reached. Seeing a good friend in Philly; my Grandbig in DC; a sorority sister, another good friend and my old boss all out on the road with me; a high school/college buddy in Baltimore; and one of my closest friends CWF (who just recently got ENGAGED!!! So so happy) and hopefully LEB in Richmond in about, oh, 2 weeks. Obviously not everyone that I could wish for, but seeing as how I am in the middle of nowhere (where its currently snowing, got the official word) these days, this was a wonderful, amazing opportunity for me.

Then do you remember my post way back whens about all the STUFF I wanted from The Gap? Specifically, those cute shirts with the ruffles and the tie in the front? This past Monday I spent some time in between work appointments having a mini girl moment (with a random new friend-they really are like 24 hour BFFs) and one stop was Gap...where I found the two tops and a cardigan all on sale, and then everyone's favorite thing happened: when I got to the counter, they were cheaper than marked!! I always love a good shopping miracle. I also tried on the dress that had enthralled me on the website, to find that the elestic band waist did nothing to flatter me. Win some, lose some.

Purchases this week have also included yoga pants, a new pair of shoes, and two sweaters all from Le Target. Really, when I need to commence grocery shopping again, I'll have no one to blame but myself.

I am off to move my laundry (first free load in MONTHS!) and snuggle with the dogs a little more before I shower and head out to my first reunion event-cocktail party!

smooches.

PS I have been keeping up with you all in your adventures in hair dyeing, cooking, jewelry shows, regatta (and party) prep, and all out unloading of info (somewhat similar to this post). I know I'm not commenting regularly, but I love hearing about what everyone is up to and your life experiences. Eventually things will settle down here and I can be a little bit more coherent. and regular.
