Pre-post note: I ended up going out on Saturday. Probably shouldn't have. But I did. Oh well.

This Wednesday!!! I will be going to a Third Eye Blind concert!!

Milty and her boyfriend are coming down for the evening, and I will probably take them out for dinner since my dinner foods consists of soups and salads right now, and then we are going to the concert!! I bought the tickets earlier tonight, and I cannot tell you how excited I am. I am hoping against hope that it's more of a throwback concert than Blues Traveler this summer-I am all about some "Semi-Charmed Life", "Graduate", "Jumper", "Never Let You Go" and I dunno, fifty bajillion other songs?! I get that they probably have new music...but I am all in for the nostalgia train ride.

I may have been a bit of a brat though, and chosen to rub it in my friend's (who lives in FL) face. He is super jealous. I told him he should fly up and I'd pick him up, and when he said no I told him he had no sense of spontaneity. Except neither do I. And he really can't come. But I'd love it if he could.

In other news, I decided to take some serious advantage of Gap's Give and Get Program, and purchased

Like a bad habit, I bought these to pair together, along with my riding boots (the whole reason for the straight leg jeans, so I don't have to duct tape-yes, I literally duct tape-my regular boot-cut/flare jeans to fit in the boots) and either a navy cotton blazer or a green puffer vest. One of my worst shopping habits is that I buy in outfits. I know (about 90% sure) these will work together, but with anything else I own? Eeeeeh not so sure.

Anyway, I am super pumped for the concert and my clothes. Remind me next post should probably tell you about my finally purchased and delivered chair!!
