Confession.

I am not one for holidays before the holidays. I don't think Christmas (or any December holiday) should be acknowledged as early as it is. It's a big holiday, but not so big we need to be marketing it almost 2 months in advance. I like to wait until after Thanksgiving. Perhaps thinking of Black Friday as the "official" start to the season.

Except.

Mom forgot to get stuffing today while we were out doing all the shopping. So since the local grocery store is open until 11, I went to go pick some up. On the way home, I was fiddling with the radio and thought, "I wonder if 101.9 is on all Christmas music yet." And I flipped to the station. "O Holy Night" was playing. I sang along.

And liked it.

It's okay, I lasted pretty long. I still haven't watched Elf yet. And I can enjoy that movie any time of the year.

So close to making it.
