Getting Fancy...

Taking a page from DSS and thinking about getting my kitchen skillz (oh yeah, went there) on.

And by getting my kitchen skillz on, I mean I called mommy while at the grocery store to ask how to make her Buffalo Wing Dip.

Basically, its shredded chicken, lots of hot sauce, lots of chunky blue cheese, some ranch, and shredded yellow cheddar baked into a mess of goodness.

I will hopefully be making this on Saturday for a girls night thingamajig, but I wanted to share that this was happening.

I've also been working on my fitness (as per usual). Side note: that dip? completely counter productive to this whole effort.

So anyway, in addition to my general assault on the fitness center (#occupytheelliptical), I've now added walking during lunch 3x a week with a coworker and "joint" workouts with my SIL using exercise videos on youtube. She picks a video, and we both do them and report back. I've also upped my exercise wardrobe game, and am now in possession of some slick gear. And by slick, I mean, hot pink.

I did my first joint workout Tuesday, and I am pretty sure I will hate my SIL soon. I literally could not hold myself in the upright sitting position after the ab workout. Yes, this means my abs are non-existent. And yes it means that hopefully they will become existent the more I do this. But for now? Ow.

Trying to make things happen, y'all. Trying to make it happen.
