Sometimes I find that my musical sensibilities tend more towards the Top 40/Pop style, because mostly, I love music that makes me smile and gets me moving like an idiot. Seriously. Like. An. Idiot. You should see me dance around. I prefer to cabbage patch and do the running man over that bump and grind business. (And I prefer a boy who will spin and dip me to both of those...)
I digress.
I've got some sweet new jams in my iTunes and I wanted to share.
1) Grace Potter and the Nocturnals-Paris (Ooh La La): This song is where the post title is from. And I just bought it like 10 minutes ago and have listened to it twice. Ob.Sessed. Point of Interest-GP is a grad of St. Lawrence University, where my brother and his fiance went to school and Milty goes now. I like.
2) LOGGY-New Kid: Found this through my mini Girl Talk Obsession and Twitter. Point of Interest-homeboy is a college kid, plays wide receiver at Cal-Berkeley, and is freakin adorable! Hello, look at the video! Plus, go to www.loggymusic.com and you can download his music. Makes this snow seem a little less cold.
3) Sean Hayes-Powerful Stuff: Ok, so I got this song from a Subaru commercial, I won't lie to you. BUT! Sometimes I get some of hte best music from random commercials. Thanks, Subaru.
4) Bruno Mars-Marry You: I got this from Glee, but we're going with the original here. For now. It's so catchy, it makes me forget that I am listening to basically the Vegas Wedding anthem. "If we wake up and you wanna break up it's cool"? Not exactly the type of wedding I support, thanks...
