So I am completely and totally excited and ecstatic (don't you just love that word?) about my life right now. I am feeling very productive and like I am moving in the direction I want my life to go! As mentioned earlier, I have a phone interview on Tuesday with a college in upstate NY, but as of yesterday I now have another interview with a college in VA! When they called me yesterday, I practically jumped in the air and did a happy dance I was so elated (synonyms for excited, anyone?). So now I am thinking of the things I want to do to prepare and get ready for not only a phone interview but a real live and in person interview as well!
In other non-related but still quite productive news, doggies have been bathed and I purchased my planner for the year! I bought it at Wal Mart, but it is made by carolinapad and is part of the Hot Chocolate collection. This is one of my favorite past times with one of my very good friends CWF. The past two summers we both lived in Salem, and in 2007 we lived together. One of our end of summer rituals was purchasing new planners for the school year. Even though we have graduated, we both still partook in this little tradition of ours. We didn't buy them together (sadly), but we both bought them and informed the other that we did. Is it silly how excited we were for the other person? So this planner will last me until the end of 2010 and if (when!) I get my job, it will be perfect for keeping dates straight.
My friend Whitney and I did this same thing throughout high school and in college! This made me smile!
