Correspondence

For my birthday this year, I decided that as a semi-grownup one thing that would be smart to have would be personalized stationary. My younger sister had done an internship at The House Downtown in Belvedere Square in Baltimore this past semester, and my mom told me about a paper goods shop there as well, and that is where we went.

All the drama of going there to order my stationary aside (other customers), Simply Noted was a great place to get my stationary. The woman was really helpful and patient with me, as a switched around from company to company trying to decide. I finally decided on Dabney Lee stationary, which is incredibly cute and "happy, snappy and preppy." My stationary is the basis for this blogs name, and is on the right. I even received a thank you note from the woman who worked at Simply Noted thanking my mom and I for our business and for being so nice!

We ended up going back to Simply Noted yesterday in our continued attempt to prepare Emily for college in a week and a half, and that is when I found this next item. I had originally been interested in an Andy Warhol address book, so I wanted to show it to my mom. When we got there, however, she found another address book that I immediately fell in love with. Its from Cath Kidston and after discovering her website to find the address book, I now have the urge to explore.
