Since I've moved, I haven't been really around good retail stores. Sure sure, theres a Maurices and a Rue 21 in the "small" (small mall), but those aren't quite my style these days. I'm not that far from some cities with more legitimate stores, but generally I have found that by the time the weekend rolls around, it is probably not in the cards for me to make it out to them. And the thought of trying to find my way to these stores kind of intimidates me.
Now that I'm out on the road, I have found that generally speaking, hotels are near things. Near restaurants. Near stores. Stores that I haven't seen in months. Okay, months is an exaggeration-I've been home within the last month or so. But still. Usually my trips aren't too laden down with the shopping.
Last night I stayed in Lancaster to start this week's travel, and it just so happened that my hotel was right in the middle of the main drag. Across from Dutch Wonderland. In the middle of an outlet mall. Oops.
New top from Banana Republic Outlet. Might have immediately worn it today. I have never ever been one of those people who buys new clothes then saves it in the back of the closet. I'm all out, right away.
New blazer from The Gap Outlet. I wore this to dinner last night. See above statement. The only thing with this is that I always have to wear it with the sleeves rolled and pushed up. One of the sleeves is all twisted up, but you can't tell when I do the roll and push. Plus, I got 30% off of the already awesome outlet price! Definitely a great grab. Love.
Don't forget to ask me questions! I want to know what you want to know! I'm off to dinner at P.F. Changs. I think. If I don't change my mind when I get in the car.

Love the top!
ReplyDeleteand i love the blazer!
ReplyDeleteI get a new outfit and I wear it every day for like 2 weeks! ha
ReplyDeleteLove your purchases and I'm right there with you! As soon as I buy something, I have to wear it out the next day. When I was in high school, I loved going shopping over the weekend because then it gave me a new outfit or two to wear the following week to school.
