Online Shopping Wins and Fails

Usually when I go online shopping, things turn out pretty well. But this most recent brush with my "disease" didn't go so well-perhaps thats a sign I should slow my roll?

Somehow or another, even though it says in the name of the dress, I missed the memo that this dress is a halter dress. And the back? Just a little stretchiness across the top, aka, not something that works with any of my kind of body here. Hello, new bathing suit cover-up.

I actually really like this top. The problem is, homegirl here doesn't have much going on "up top" and well, I do. The way the bow aspect on the chest falls, it kind of cuts right across the middle. So if I'm gonna be in the bow, there is a lot of hoisting involved. And if I'm not, then I'm not sure it looks quite right. Oh, problems.

In addition, I did buy two pairs of shorts that fit juuuust fine and a dress from j. crew I knew wouldn't fit that is my "project" dress-it's my project to get into it by my brother's wedding. The color looks great and I can technically zip it...but things are squeezed and inappropriately and unattractively tight.

So those were some of the fun things that happened with this weeks arrivals. Go team!!
