I made my first foray into making cupcakes yesterday and Monday.
We are having a baby shower in my office today, and I was somewhat in charge, so I decided what would be better for a party than cupcakes?! So I bought Funfetti cake mix, buttercream frosting, and some pink cookie icing.
A coworker of mine is pregnant with a baby girl whose name begins with R...thus, the pink R's. I'm not quite the frosting genius I suspected I might be-please note that some of the R's are sliding around a bit.
The finished product. If you will notice, there are only 23 cupcakes. I may or may not have eaten a test one.
Unfortunately, there is now about a third of a tub of leftover frosting in my fridge. That should probably be thrown out ASAP.
Yum. Frosting. At Butterlane cupcakes on Saturday they gave us a peanut butter frosting shot. Heaven.
