Weekend Wins (and Losses)

Weekend Win:
Getting to leave work at 4 pm on Friday to head down to home for the weekend.

Weekend Loss:
Driving through blinding rain and having to pull off the side of the highway to wait out the hail. Half the time I could see the cloud line and the sun just to my left or right. Not so fun.

Weekend Win:
Going with mommy to the Boden Warehouse Sale in Oaks, PA! Those things are insane, y'all. And apparently this one was nothing!! I picked up two dresses, a sweater, two pairs of pants, a skirt and a tunic top. There are two more coming up this summer in Harrisburg and Pittston, PA. I don't know about Harrisburg, but I might have to go to Pittston. Anyone in?

Weekend Loss:
Getting lost on the way home from the sale. I hate when the GPS takes you on the route you don't want to use, and you are just trying to get back to the one you took to get there. Boo!

Weekend Win:
Mommy made me steak on the grill on Saturday night, and Daddy made me pancakes Sunday morning. I have to tell you, Daddy makes THE. BEST. pancakes ever. With real maple syrup!! You have not lived until you have real maple syrup on your pancakes. We're talking "bought-off-the-side-of-the-road-from-a-random-strangers-house" real maple syrup. Still don't have my supplier up here yet...

Weekend Loss:
Roanoke loss a HORRIBLE game to Salisbury. I left home around 10:30 and pulled off to get lunch and watch the game on my laptop at Panera, and it was just embarrassing. Final score was 16-7. That is not a Roanoke score. That is not a Roanoke game. So disappointed.

Overall I enjoyed my weekend and I am so glad I got to go home! It's totally getting close to summer down in MD-the trees are heavy with leaves and I got my first sunburn of the year driving home from the sale (window was down...sun was right on my arm...sexy). It's hard coming back up here where the leaves are still coming out and it hasn't even hit 80* out yet. I miss warm weather!!!

This week means the premiere of The Bachelorette, the season finale of Glee, a return to exercising, and a milestone for some of my behbehs at work! Capped off with a three day weekend, and I am feeling pretty okay with the end of May.

Off to watch Ashley start the process of finding her man!
