Working On It.

After a nice (long. embarrassing) break, I am returning to the attempts to be healthy/work out. This is honestly a constant struggle, so I jump on and fall off constantly. I've got doctor's appointments next week so there are some things I am hoping to resolve there. Anyway.

I've been doing that running thang, but the thing is, my right side is just giving me a multitude of issues. My hip gets funky, and the right side of my right calf gets swollen and gives me problems. I usually have to stop and stretch multiple times through my workout, which is a teeny bit obnoxious. On the plus side, I don't get this from ellipticals or the ADT. Just running (outside or treadmills).

I'm just broken!

I've decided that it'll probably be good to mix it up a bit, so I played tennis today, and am looking into Zumba classes in town. We're (aka, my boss's wife and I) dropping in Tuesday, deciding if we like it, and then either going for a 10 class package , or just continuing with drop ins. She and I are also going to set up a standing tennis date, at least for the summer.

Despite my maladies and everything, I am still working on trying again to make it work.

Woot woot.
