Tomorrow is my daddy's birthday!! He will be turning 58, and I love him immensely. He is up in upstate New York right now, but will be coming home tomorrow with Milty and Bisby! I am so excited. I am an incredible daddy's girl. My favorite thing to do with my dad is to go to lacrosse games together! He is totally where I got my love of the game from. I called him today to ask him what he wanted, and he said this gift would be "the cat's meow":
I think Milty and I might take him out to dinner or something too, but we shall see.
Not only is my dad's birthday tomorrow, but my mommy's birthday is this Saturday! She'll be turning the big 5-0, and she is very self assured about this happening. She is on a field trip with her work right now, but she will be returning Friday, and Milty, a friend and I will be going out to lunch with her to California Pizza Kitchen. Not only did I get daddy's present today, but I got mommy hers too!
She has recently started making jewelry, and I thought these would be really cute to use as thank you cards for when she sells her pieces! I also got her her more practical gift that she requested.
Most adorable, however, is that not only were my parents born 2 days (and 8 years) apart, but they were married 4 days after that! They got married on October 21st, 1983, so this year will be their 26 wedding anniversary. I love both my parents so much, and I can only hope to find someone I feel so strong for as they do for each other.
