Keep on Trucking

Day 2 at the new job-complete. So much fun! I got to go out of the office today (on only my second day! big deal.)

The big news of the life today is that I talked to my dad last night and my couch is a definite. So I don't have to worry about that purchase. He is getting it from a cousin's storage space, and my uncle said that if there was anything in there (within reason) that I might need, we could take it. That means that I might get a matching chair as well and I told daddy to scope for a bookshelf. And only 3-4 more days until I can maybe start getting important things like pots and pans and a coffee maker!

I am already getting tired of cereal and sandwiches over here, so I can't wait to get some more substantial meal options. Right now I am so limited as to what I can do because of my lack of kitchen amenities!

The big thing I need to do is call about my cable and internet. Its on my list of things to do, but I need to wait so I can be sure I'll be safe to pay! Its such a pain to have to hold out until then.

I decided against my run today because I was seriously feeling the pain this morning-I need to work on easing myself into these hills, but its so hard when they are all over the place! So I am thinking tonight might be a movie and abs night...if I can force myself to do the abs.

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and gorgeous, and I am very excited about that. I am hoping to get out of the office a little early for the lacrosse game-thank goodness its later in the afternoon or I could be counting on a serious sunburn!

mmmm other than that....Glee starts SO SOON!!!! I cannot, absolutely cannot wait people.
