Right now I am blogging from my new patio, sitting in my pink (painted it myself, thanks!) Adirondack chair as the sun slowly slips into a more direct spot on my person. As Milty pointed out, "You can totally lie out back here!" (and I plan to.) It seems as if laptops and blogging were made for serene moments like this. Birds, very few cars, an almost amazing view blocked by trees.
The reality is slightly different, as I fight off the numerous ants that find it an amusing challenge to climb up my leg. As of right now, my internet can best be described as "spotty," since I have yet to start investing in my own and the joy of the first night's total access free-for-all has faded into a more realistic can't-find-service-anywhere deal. Everyday during the week the softball team practices about 500 yards from my window, blaring music (that I like, thank goodness).
So with all of this in mind, I will try my hardest to update on my goings ons around here as I actually start furnishing and decorating, etc. I know I know, I totally owe some better pictures, and I will try and get that done-soon.
Cable and internet are important too, though. And maybe purchasing a razor...you maybe don't want to know about that.
I'm off to figure out a run. Did I mention, I live atop a massive hill (and that my city is known as "the city of hills")? Yeah, my butt is gonna be faboosh.
