Wow!

I am heeeere! I have actually been in my new apartment since around 5pm, but my dad and I have been out grocery shopping and just sort of putzing around, so not too much is done-yet.

Big things that need to kind of happen- buy curtains, lamps, and a comfy chair for my living room. I am not too concerned with furnishings yet because as long as my room and the kitchen are in working order I am pretty happy-for now. Obviously I will need more stuff (bookcase for my office area? yes please!!) but I am trying to be careful with my $$.

Remember how I was unsure about my bedding, kind of? I l.o.v.e. it so much. The quilt and shams are in place and, like Rachel Zoe, I die.  My $15 end table from Target is just the right dark shade of "wood" and I am super glad I grabbed a lamp on the way out. My bedroom and the living room have no overhead lighting so I would have been...well, let would've been bad.

Milty arrives tomorrow and we are setting up my bureau and going antiquing (daddy's words, hah!) and working on getting this place in order, somewhat. Saturday we are having "Easter" and going to a lacrosse game. Then its all me, baby. Daddy and Milty leave on Sunday and work starts Monday. I have been waiting for this grownup thing to happen for so long I can't believe its here.
