I got my massage gift from my parents, and I really want to use it. But I also kind of want to wait until I am in need of it (not that I don't think I should have one everyday) but I want to get the best use of it as possible. Wait until I've had a massive workout and I am so sore I can barely move, or a really long couple of days at work and I can't feel my lower back.
I mean, we're talking 60 minute custom massage that I get to be like "oh could you really focus on my right shoulder? It's a killer" or "no, a little higher, to the left, a little more....right there" kind of deal. Shouldn't this be savored? Or maybe by waiting until a time when I am in so much pain I can't move is a bad idea. It's so difficult to know!!
I am only working 8 hours this week at the store, but I have picked up 12 hours already at the preschool, so I am thinking thats a nice little balance. Plus I still have two days of total freedom (as of now, I am totally willing to give that up for an opportunity to make some $$). So pretty much this week consists of focusing on getting my booty to the gym and possibly making a bigger effort towards that healthier eating thing. I've seen a lot of recipes that people post on their blogs, and I kind of want to try them out. I have been avoiding my actual resolution by focusing on a non-resolution: getting my financial stuff organized. I bought a file box thingy (technical term) at Target and have put all things finance-y in it. I'm pretty proud of myself.
(In other news, I am pretending as if nothing happened with the person who set off my rant from yesterday. Which is good and bad. Because he is acting like nothing happened either.)
Onward to my warm comfy bed and reading "Sex With Kings" (so good in a non-fiction kind of way) oooomph.
