TV...I Love Relaxing The Mind

I am so down with trashy TV sometimes it is not. even. funny.

Sure I love watching the history channel, or smart comedies, or confusing, plot twisting shows that you need to focus on every detail of every episode to understand anything and if you miss one episode you're lost forever (didn't get into Lost when it started and now I am bitter).

But then ABC rolls out the new season of The Bachelor followed by CONVEYOR BELT OF LOVE and I am hooked. Did anyone watch Dating In The Dark that was always on after this most recent season of the Bachelorette? Guilty.

The new season of The Real World in DC? Heck yes I am interested! Especially because there is a kid from Baltimore on it (who, in the show, is trying to come off hard, but apparently he went to a really amazing prep school in the area. I KNOW THINGS, TY).

I am also impatiently awaiting the return of the fabulous ABC Family show Make It or Break It along with my favorite, Greek. And, a little more on the "smarter/less trashy" end of the scale, is anyone looking forward to The Deep End? It has the guy from the movie Sydney White in it (you know, with Amanda Bynes, getting kicked out of the pledging process, and finding refuge with seven dorky guys in a house that the evil greek system wants to destroy to make way for a greek life center?)!!

Overall, this has been a really good bonding year for TV and I. I rarely find myself interested in so many shows that are on a "need to watch" basis as some of these are/hopefully will become. I am still on the lookout for some serious Tues/Thurs night goodness, though. I was into Grey's but I kind of fell out and am not sure how to jump back in (two years of working Thursday nights will do that to you).

The main point of this post however, is to encourage everyone to watch Conveyor Belt of Love on ABC at 10 pm after The Bachelor (btw, not getting paid for any of this, I am making these suggestions out of my own love) because its so trashy TV its amazing. You will probably be so disappointed that you'll love it. just saying.

Also, in Bachelor talk (uh, if you haven't seen the episode yet and you don't wanna know things, stop right here) anyone else:

1) Kinda creeped by Michelle?
2) Notice that Tenley works in college admissions!? JEALOUS.
3) Think Ali was adorable, even if she was sick?
4) Find it odd that Jillian and Ed came back to help?
5) INCREDIBLY PUMPED for all the dramz!?!? LINES HAVE BEEN CROSSED THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CROSSED! you heard Chris Harrison. I wanna know NOW.
