Jen Lancaster (author of multiple books, including her most recent, Pretty In Plaid) is someone I follow on Twitter (shameless plug: request to follow me on Twitter here). I loved her books, and I love her in real time as well. She's funny, sarcastic, loves her pets, and sometimes tweets about interesting news stories. For anyone who has read Pretty in Plaid, you remember the story about when she was Rush Chair, right? Well about 10-15 minutes ago, on her Twitter, she tweeted a link to an amazing story:

Um....WOW! I was dying laughing, reading this. It is amazing how in depth it is (you can read all six pages attached at the bottom) but it also brought back memories of going through this process, from both sides. My sisters are approaching the end of Rush (Bid Day is Sunday!!! Can't wait to FB stalk to look at pics) and while we were never this strict, we still set out some ground rules about dressing appropriately, and the stuff about the make-up? kind of true.
I love and miss my sisters.
