I love love love getting L.L. Bean catalogs, especially the Home one! Not only do I get to stare at pictures of ADORABLE puppies (like the one on the back of the most recent one that was covered in mud-SO CUTE!!!) but I get to drool over bedding. I don't know why, but bedding is my jam, yo. I love blankets and quilts and comforters and pillows and shams and sheets and everything. I actually asked my dad yesterday if would could officially move down my big bed next weekend, so my room is about to officially become my room, due to all the rearranging that will be occurring. I'm not sure where everything is going to go yet (though I have an idea of where I want the bed) but its going to be wonderful. Sorry Rick, but your junk is headed to the attic.
Moving on.
I like different stores for different bedding items. For example, I die for PB Teens quilts and sheets. Pine Cone Hill? gorgeous. And of course the Lilly line from Garnet Hill is wonderful. My comforter right now was bought 4 years ago from Tommy Hilfiger for college. One side is pink and the other is green with white hibiscus flowers. I was in l.o.v.e. When I go to the mall here, I always park right outside of the 4th floor Macy's and wander through their bedding before hitting the stores. T.J. Maxx et al is all about bedding for me. I am a dork.
Does anyone else find this stuff as captivating as I do?
