Good Juju

I am so excited about Thursday, and I am trying to do things to think positively, get excited and prepared, and give myself an overall sense of "I can do this!". Some of those things include talking through my interest in the position with my parents, scanning their website, and then the smaller things, like wearing a tee shirt from the school and drinking my coffee from a mug from the school. (Side note: While I know that I have pretty much given you all all the information to figure out where I am interviewing if you wanted to look it up, I don't want to flat out say, just in terms of privacy issues-don't really know what the school would think, etc).

I am so very excited.

In other side information-My mile time is definitely improving. I am now down to a 12 minute mile-which might not seem too impressive overall, but for me its awesome! I have been going to the gym for the past three days, and need to keep going until up to when I leave on Wednesday. I am so back in the gymming groove, which I looove when that happens. I lose it sometimes, but when it comes back it's so exciting! Haven't seen my boxing buddy friend since we last spoke.

OMG! haha this just happened. We have a big glass door that, especially during the winter, birds tend to run into it. Most of the time they shake it off and are alright, but twice we've had birdies that have really felt it. The first was a week or so ago, and daddy brought it inside to let it recover-then it started to fly around a little, daddy caught it, and set it outside. The other was about 5 minutes ago. I grabbed some gloves and held it while it regained its bearings, and then it flew off happy. I just think-it's so weird/cool to do something like that-be able to approach a wild animal and help it. I am so the person that pulls over for animals and not people (as evidenced my my desire to help lost dogs but only watch as people get stuck on the road), but its so different helping wild animals versus domestic pets.

Thats all for now!
