Here We Go!!

AH!!! It's February, which means (to me) the beginning of Lacrosse Season!!! 4 months of games and bliss. I can sit in 20 degree weather and watch a preseason scrimmage people. I am so pumped for this year! I can't wait to see how this year pans out, as the competition has been slowly but surely opening up more and more in Division III Lacrosse.

(Point of note: I love all mens lacrosse and would probably watch any and all games I could, but I went to a DIII school and my brother and father played at the DIII level so thats where my heart is at. Yeah, DI is some pretty sick schtuff, but I just think DIII has so much more heart)

So there are two polls that come out weekly ranking the teams that I care about: The USILA Coaches Poll (which hasn't come out yet for DIII) and the Laxpower.com Forum Poll (which does not carry anywhere near as much weight because its just dudes who love lacrosse and not coaches, but then it is also is not coaches and therefore a little more accurate because it lacks the self-interest voting and these guys see games of all the teams, not just their own and their opponents.) The Laxpower Preseason Forum Poll came out today, and I am so ready to get started!!

(Another point of note: I am SO AWARE that I am a huge dork. I am also very okay with this)

I have a really fun story from Friday night that I would like some input on (from both you and your significant others-for those who have them) that I will share tomorrow.
