Help, I Need Somebody...

Ok here is my fun story.

Friday night I actually went out and left the house with friends. My friend H is in town and I haven't seen her for a WHILE, so we met up with her freshman year roommate and my quasi-friend, quasi-acquaintance  B. I say that quasi stuff because we are friends, but not so good friends that we go out together when there isn't someone else around to facilitate. I know her through my Big and H, but I don't know her friends.

So we went to Federal Hill and met up with B's old roommate from when she lived down there, and we went out to The Stalking Horse. Pretty fun. While we're there, friends of B and her roommate show  up and we are hanging out with them, which included a very nice young man, M. He was cute, really nice, thought it was funny that I knew the words to practically every song they played (both upstairs and downstairs) and I am thinking we got along pretty well. So at the end of the night as he is going to leave, I grab him, ask him for his phone and put my number in, telling him that he can do whatever he wants with it (meaning, it's in your court bucko-call me, text me, delete me, whatever). He then proceeds to take his phone back and immediately call me so that I have his number in my phone. We say goodbye, and I am hanging with B and H for a little longer then we have to go meet up with B's roommate...who is at M's house apparently. So that was a little awkward, but he hugged me as I left (and not B or H....that I recall seeing).

So help. I have been assured that this is a good sign. And that the best course of action is if I don't here from him by tomorrow I should call/text him. But I am still confused. Did he put the ball back in my court when he made sure I had his number too? I mean, he wasn't a random dude at the bar (kind of) since he was more like friend of a friend. Since I had just shared my lack of sign reading skills and my disappointment over not giving random customer my number, I figured I could bite the bullet on this one and go for it. I need insight and wisdom people!
