Out Of Order? Don't Care

So this only happened today, so I am going out of order on the update thing, but I wanted to share super badly!! I got a call to do an interview today!!

I applied for this job back in November, so when Christmas rolled around I was sure I hadn't gotten it and they just weren't even going to bother telling me anything (it's happened with other places). A couple weeks ago I emailed them asking about whether the position was still open, and they had emailed me back saying it was. However, a significant amount of time has passed between then and now, so I was starting to get that "nope not happening" feeling again.

Then today, while at my aunt and uncle's house (part of that long stretch of time when I wasn't sharing but will be sharing soon!), after talking to my aunt about my job search, I received-bah bahda bah!!!!-a phone call from the office that is hiring, telling me that they wanted to interview me and when would be a good time! I was so so happy!!

So next Thursday I have an interview! It's up in the Central New York area, so I have to leave Wednesday. I am not sure what the schedule is for the interview on Thursday, so I might try and drive back on Thursday or spend another night up there and come home Friday, we shall see. I am so excited though because this is my Father's Alma Mater and I really feel like I have a connection to the school (even though I did not attend it) and that I have a lot to offer them. I hope that they see this in me.

I feel like this is such a positive sign that I haven't had in a while, so I want to send good juju out to everyone reading. May my positive happenings rub off on you and yours!!
