Recap.

So who remembers this post where I talked about needing a big girl grownup job purse? Did I mention I found one about two weeks ago?? And on top of my big girl grownup job purse, I also got a big girl grownup everyday purse! Go team!
This brown baby to the left is my everyday go to purse. Liz Claiborne, I got it at 50% off because I was super scared vultures were going to fly in and steal it from clearance! I should have waited though...

Because I got this black Liz Claiborne bag at 70% off, and there was another just like my other still on the table that was going for 70% off when I got this one! I'm ok with all of this though, haha.

Both of these bags are soft leather, so while they are structured in that they aren't like a crazy hobo bag without shape, they also don't really hold their sides too well when not being used, so take what you will from that. The black one easily holds my laptop (used it on my interview!) with room to spare, so it's fabulous for my career of choice, which (I would imagine) may require toting around files like whoa.

In other funtastic purchases, mommy bought me some really cute earrings on etsy, and they arrived today! The shop is kgarnerdesigns, and while I am sure my earrings are more on the "wedding" side of her items, I plan to (and have already) use them for everyday wear.

To prepare for my interview, I needed to do a little shoe shopping. I had my go to pointy toed black heels, which unfortunately had been destroyed in Hurricane Puppy Bisby. Now, with less than twenty-four hours until I left for my interview, I needed new shoes. And I got them. And they are the exact same shoes as my destroyed pair (I may be one of those people who keep shoe boxes and I just checked the old box. The same).
These babies are Nine West Modiley in Black (obviously). The heels is not so big as to be uncomfortable, and they are wooonderful with both my suit, slacks, an jeans when I (used to) go out. I was upset when my old ones died, and now they have come back to me! Reincarnated!

While purchasing these fine things, I also made a last minute grab. Nail polish, by Anise, in A Touch of Honey. Going with that metallic tone kind of trend (ish) going on, kind of like the grays and greens. except this is more of a brownish copper shade.
Don't you love the quilt underneath? Christmas present from last year (08). Didn't think about it, but I realize I should've asked for one this year too. I need to start building my collection. Is it weird to plan on having a trunk full of blankets and quilts in my home? My parents have a Hope Chest at the end of their bed which, when I was growing up, was stuffed full of 'em.
