Good Things Come in Threes

So about two weeks ago I told y'all that my brother and his girlfriend had gotten engaged and how excited I was.

Then, and I am pretty sure I forgot to mention this, my cousin (the last out of the four in her family to get pregnant) had an adorable, healthy little baby boy that she and her husband named Sean. So adorable!

So thats two. What's number three you ask?



I GOT THE JOB!!!!


AHHH! They called me today! I was so excited, I couldn't believe it. I had my phone on speaker and Milty was in the room (she had just gotten home from school like 45 minutes prior) and she actually started cheering, hahaha. I had to tell the guy that she had heard so he wasn't confused.

I feel so lucky and so blessed to be given this opportunity. I have been drinking from my mug and wearing a t-shirt from the school for the past two weeks trying to psych myself up and send out as many positive vibes as possible. Thank you to everyone who thought/prayed/juju-ed for me, I so so appreciate it.

One funny story: About 15 minutes before I got the phone call, Milty told me about how she went to see a professor at her school about a trip she is taking this weekend, and when she got in his office, he said to her, "So I hear your sister is applying for the job at (insert school name here)." Milty was incredibly confused and asked how he knew. Apparently, the man who interviewed me is an alum of her college (I knew this and we talked about it during my interview). Well, he told someone affiliated with the school, and that guy, knowing that Milty knew this professor and that they would be talking soon about the trip, mentioned it to the professor. And here it is, getting back to me! As soon as she told me this, I felt so rejuvenated and positive about my chances at getting the job-they wouldn't talk about me if I wasn't at least a pretty good option, right?

I am so happy I could burst! AND I am moving in three weeks! Just enough time to find somewhere to live, furnish it, and move in. I am so excited.
