So yeah hahaha this past week has destroyed my life, but I am going to think of it as good preparation. Except hopefully high school seniors won't drive me as crazy as two year olds.
I worked at the preschool everyday this week, 8:30-5 or 5:30, and two of these days I followed that up working at my other job. I love children, I think they are adorable, but maybe I do better with not two year olds. I am not very good with the constant crying, and the taking of toys deliberately, and the diaper changes, and a lot of other stuff. When I have a child, I know that this stuff comes along with it, but I hopefully won't have septuplets, octuplets, etc. Twins would be enough, thank you!
But the fun part of my life is just beginning. Today (at some point) my mother and I are driving up to our vacation spot in NY to spend the night tonight, then tomorrow we are heading over to Oneonta to find me an apartment! W are planning on it being very HGTV (mommy got us a rental agent to help and we planned two other visits for on our own) and hopefully by the end of Sunday I will have a place picked where I will be living! I am so excited for this, and I can't wait to share.
I have been contemplating my design ideas/overarching goals and sadly all my ideas are based on what I want to do in the bathroom, haha. Target has this adorable Flamingo print shower curtain (pink with white flamingos) as well as some yellow or navy sink accessories that I think are adorable. Sooo pink and navy? pink and yellow? The pattern on my quilt and shams I purchased so long ago is navy...I think we're going pink and navy. But like...tasteful pink and navy. I think the bathroom might be the only place where navy is the accent color. Otherwise I think pink should be the accent (since its so much brighter). Thoughts? Ideas? "Ew what a gross idea"s?
