So lately, life seems to be catching up and pulling me in all different directions, yet I seem to be standing in the same place as ever. Sorry I haven't been over here as much as I should or would like. I have been keeping up with everyone on Reader (though it took me a couple days to really get back down to normal) and have been much more diligent over on my twitter (scroll down on the bottom right, and follow me!). So but here is a quick update:
-I officially "got" my apartment and it is being "held" for me until I can get up there to sign the lease and make my big payment. That is supposed to occur sometime this week.
-I also officially received my offer letter, which I will be sending back to them post haste. Everything is still technically waiting on my background check. I also need to meet with HR and hopefully also find myself a bank. This will also probably occur sometime this week.
-I also also officially ended both of my other part time gigs this past Saturday. I really enjoyed my coworkers at each job (though sometimes the actual work was tedious) but I am glad to be finished because that means I am closer (two weeks!!) away from starting my first step in my career.
-My mom and I went shopping at Home Goods on Saturday and bought 4 plates, 4 bowls, a coffee mug, and 6 Iced Tea Tumblers (that are green with blue polka dots). This seems like a nice healthy step towards moving. Maybe next time I will take the plunge and buy the navy blue lamp (to match my quilt and shams I bought back in...MAY).
So I owe you:
-1 (one) My Music Friday A Cappella addition...I was thinking Tufts Beelzebubs but since their appearance on "The Sing Off" I need to find someone else. They'll be awesome though, no worries.
-A couple of pictures of my new plates and such. They are so pretty and I really like them. Definitely no regrets or buyers remorse on these. (Sometimes I feel that with my bedding, but then I actually look at it and that goes away. Something about all the girly frilly patterns at Home Goods and TJ Maxx make me regret it until I escape them).
-More actual posts. Like about spending the morning yesterday completely spring cleaning our lawn and my blisters. Or about how this weekend is an alumni gathering at a lacrosse game and how I don't know if I want to go because of that reason (and also because it is my cousin's baby shower-aka "meet Sean" party- because the snow postponed the first two events). And anything else fun, interesting, or life-y I can provide you with.
