New Background (Not Here)

I stole my new computer and phone background from my friend K's Twitter account. I think its so darling, and I really enjoy it. K's reaction to having it was that it was "so DG" but was also very summery and that she really liked it. I stole it and put it on my phone (by taking a picture of my computer background! Genius) and when I showed it to my mother, the first thing she said was "Thats very Delta Gamma." and I laughed. Because mommy would know, since she was one.

It's kind of weird being out of school because for me, owls are Chi O, anchors are DG, lions are Phi Mu, and ladybugs are ASA (the four sororities at my school). If I had gone somewhere with a Kappa Kappa Gamma, I'm sure I would never be able to own a Tiffany's key necklace because the key would be mentally associated, for me, with KKG. One of Kappa Alpha Theta's symbols is a kite, but I don't make that connection because there wasn't 4 years of mental association. You get the idea.

Fashion wise, nautical seems to be a big thing right now, or at the very least it was recently a big thing. I know I sound so silly, but it's kind of hard to feel comfortable with anchors because of what I know. Regardless, I still love my new background, and am working to grow out of my fears, haha.
