I have just returned from Target on my rainy day shopping trip! I originally started with three bags, but I managed to consolidate down to two. See some of those goodies poking out?
Everyone has been talking about Liberty of London for Target, so I finally made it over there today to get a look. I was looking for some tops, expecting the entire collection to be gone. Instead I found a ton of dresses, but no tops, and I wasn't feeling the dress look (though Milty proclaimed one to be the cutest thing she had ever seen me wear via text). As I was walking past the shoes, I spied through the racks some rain boots, and headed on over (I'm going to need them for mud season, methinks). I found some Merona ones, and just as I was about to say YES to the rain boots, I turned the corner and...
There they were! Except, oh no just children sizes...but wait a second, that's a size 10 and doesn't look like any children's size 10 I've ever seen (not that I have, ever)...
Ooooh glorious rainboots of fabulousness. As I was standing there, picture messaging Milt for her thoughts, another woman came by looking for Liberty of London, so I grabbed them protectively (the first sign that you really, really want them). Thankfully she was NOT a size 10, but she mentioned seeing some Liberty of London plates...Thus began my perusal of the entire store.
These media boxes, though I am sure they are meant for holding CD's or maybe even DVD's, will look gorgeous flanking my Mac on a desk, being used to hold important mail (read:bills), stationary and cute pads of paper, or maybe my multitude of cords (camera, iPod, etc). I am considering implementing this idea now...
So it's not Liberty of London (do they make shower curtains for Target?) but I fell head over feet for this shower curtain. Pink with flamingos-because if you can't have a little bit of fun in your bathroom, where can you? Now to decide...are navy towels too masculine?
Yes, I bought a second pair of my favorite sunglasses ever. I know they aren't very professional, but I can't help it. Plus, I needed a replacement pair...
...my old ones have (hot pink) duct tape holding them together after I left them in my canvas tote then stepped on them. Sure, everyone says you can't tell, but I got the last pair left of these today. I am banking on good investment.
Excellent shopping day. I also bought gas.
HAHA "I also bought gas."
ReplyDeleteWe thought the same thing about the rainboots. Wonder why the put the womens and kids boots together? To confuse us in our L of L shopping frenzy I bet....
