Memories of a Semi-Formal Type.

I know I just posted earlier, buuut whatever.

First and foremost:

Happy Birthday to my sister Liz aka Wizzy (at least to me, haha)! She is a big grownup 21 year old now, and thats wonderful!

Moving on...

So today (11/15) is Founders Day for my sorority, the lovely Alpha Sigma Alpha. We were founded this day in 1901 at Longwood College (now University). I love my sorority, my sisters, and everything we work hard to represent for each other and ourselves.

This evening was also Fall Cabin for the girls down at school! Apparently we confused so many people by calling it Fall Cabin, people thought we went to a cabin in the woods for this? but no, it's just our fall semi-formal! So much fun, but so, so, so! much drama and excitement.

Sophomore year I took CWF's boy toy, haha! Way before they were dating, obviously, but he was a really fun date. The only problem? He was a sweetie for a class above mine, so while he was my date, he was also their classes date, too. If that makes sense. Plus, I had to deal with a semi-crazy who was kind of...not over him from a past fling.

Junior year I took who I think was the greatest date I've ever had to one of these events. I worked with him, and asked him in the parking lot at the bank. We had a great great time, except at the end of the night when I cried (go figure) and tried to walk home (campus safety picked me up) because he left the after party to go to the bar without saying goodbye. The next morning, I realized how dumb this was, and he will be forever immortalized as my favorite fall cabin/cocktail/inaugural/every date function date of all time.

Senior year CWF and I took each other, but she had to leave early due to some d.r.a.m.a. Somehow though, at the end of the night, I had other people's dates buying me drinks at the bar? Win.

Overall, these events were always fun, but there was ALWAYS something going down. People crying, people getting sick, dates leaving, dates dancing with other girls when they should've been with their dates, people trying to fight, people trying to jump out of moving vehicles....in my 3 1/2 years in my sorority I have seen a lot, haha. But in the end, everyone always has great memories they can look back on with a smile and a laugh. I know I have plenty. None involving moving vehicles though.
