Continued Effort

After taking a very unofficial poll (aka I asked one person) it was determined that after 7 months at home, it is not considered defeat to actually "move in" to my parents house. Rather, I am going to stick with the belief that it is a smart financial move while I search for stable income. Because my income right now is only sufficient enough to handle the bills I have, and I should probably not be adding any new ones to the list. However, remember my steps towards being a grown up from a long time ago? Well, its going well! I have my own phone plan, and I am paying my own student loans and phone bill. I forget what else was on the list (probably something about getting a big kid job) but I have been trying my darndest to save money and not touch it...though it looks like I might have to dip into that to get through the next round of bills, due to Christmas spending. Meh. Such is the life, right?

Back to the semi original point of this post-I have really made a dent in making my room less, uh, boxfilled and more liveable. I have set up a desk (though its not very cute and has a Bud Light neon sign hanging above it) and have put some of my books on the shelf by the bed, so I am feeling sense of slight satisfaction that I have made moves to making this my room. The big step is to rearrange it and move in the queen sized bed. That is probably still a little ways off.

In other news: I got Glee the Music Volumes 1&2 for Christmas and they are pretty much on repeat on my iTunes. I realize that I have now missed two My Music Fridays in a row, so I am going to need a serious punch to the face to not forget next week. Incidentally, I don't have any New Year plans, so I should have plenty of time, narf.

To end, I would like to share that I ran 4 miles today and I felt very heart healthy afterwards. I have boxing class tomorrow morning, maybe this time I won't have a nervy b.

kisses and fabulosity to everyone.
