- focus on one resolution
- be able to state your resolution in three words
- create smaller, more definite goals...
- ...reward yourself for achieving them!
- make others aware of your resolution
So Here goes my attempt at this plan. I am sticking to that one resolution rule, because I am not down for trying multiple. Better to stick to one and do it well!
Resolution: Eat More Healthy (proper grammar? Not sure. But it's three words and gets the point across).
Smaller Goals:
1) Start with one meal a day healthy, and work my way up to two and three (month at a time maybe?).
2) Eat breakfast regularly. Make skipping the exception, not the rule.
3) Discuss this resolution with my parents for shopping reasons, maybe even try to get them in on the plan.
4) Keep track of my progress (food diary, calendar, whatever) and be honest.
5) Find healthy recipes online and be willing to prepare them.
Rewards:
1) As I am hoping that this combined with my workouts will lead to a smaller me, my big big reward will be a NICE new dress for Alumni Weekend in April
2) Healthy, but still satisfying, "junk foods"
3) For every....month I do...90% or better on eating healthy, I can buy myself a new pair of shoes.
4) I don't know, I need help on the rewards part
Making Others Aware:
I think I will probably end up talking about this a lot on here, or possibly start a supplementary blog to track myself. As well, I mentioned talking to my parents about this goal. So they will be aware, and hopefully will help me cut down on my crum bum food intake.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas for rewards?
