Yikes! Bikes.

I am so awful! I had a definite snow day today (you should see outside! So awesome. Though I am sure some of you are experiencing the same as me) and spent it on the couch napping and watching television. It was just so. incredibly. nice. to recoup.

So I promised a recap, and I will try and mostly just touch on the highlights, but it has been a busy busy week. I worked one job or another everyday so far this week, and Thursday and Friday I worked both. On top of that, around Thursday afternoon I started getting sickly, and it was just monstrous. 7:45 am-9:30 pm on Thursday PLUS going to the gym after that? Bad bad choice. Friday was disastrous though. I could barely function and I looked like hell. Cute. But last night Dad, Liz and I did get some shopping done (I got Liz and Rick & his GF their gifts, 3 out of six ain't bad) and I came home and died. Liz is getting a pair of cowboy boots, and Rick and the GF are getting some Wii games to go with the Wii he is buying himself for Christmas with his bonus (how grownup is he!?)

On Thursday night I got a text from Rick's GF asking me about my cousin's fiancee's last name. She was writing Christmas cards and needed it, but I didn't know it. Come to find out, through texting other cousins, (though not anyone in the engaged cousin's immediate family) that no one knew his last name...oops? We found it out yesterday, but it was still a moment of interesting clarity. Note to Self: be sure to make known more info about my future boyfriends, should they ever become fiancees.

Yesterday was pretty chilly, so when I was at the preschool and we decided to take the kids on a "walk" (aka we push them in three seater strollers) we definitely made sure to bundle them up quite tightly. One of the little boys, who is about 13 months old and one of the most adorable little boy I have ever met, had been brought to school by his father in a full body blue snowsuit. It was so cute, and he reminded me of the younger brother in "A Christmas Story" ha! After we got him into it, he was having trouble walking around, and he even plopped (he wasn't hurt, just the normal teeny spills little kids take) but he couldn't get back up!! He is such a little sweetie, walking out to the strollers with his pacifier in and his bunny in his hand, he may have fallen asleep on the walk. I can't wait to have little kids.

Other than that really, there is not much else to say. I caught the very end of "The Sing Off" at the gym on Wednesday night, and the (kind of cute, definitely still in college {not that I'm that far out of it, but I would guesstimate sophomore year for him}) guy who works the desk sometimes saw me, uh, react (Read: clap enthusiastically and kind of shout "yes!") when the Bubs made it to the finals, and that was a nice little awkward yet bonding moment for us. ha. Fortunately, the gym isn't very busy at almost 10 pm on a Wednesday night.

We'll see what tomorrow brings, but I am hoping an inability to get my car out (again) or a closed store. Until then...may you not be too upset about your cancelled parties and missing out on awesome food.
