Tomorrow, my Big, her roommate, and our friend are all coming up to bmore for the weekend!! All of them were juniors when I joined ASA as a freshman, and I love them so so much! When I went down to Roanoke for Microfestivus at the beginning of August I stayed with my Big. She is from bmore too, and they are staying at her parents for the weekend. Let me tell you why they are coming, because it is pretty much a perfect example of why my big and I are perfect.
Big's best friend from high school, about a month or so ago, won a free happy hour at a bar downtown. She drinks for free, and all her guests get all-you-can-drink (noting fancy, actually, I have no idea what even is on the all-you-can-drink menu) for a 2 hour period for $12. Ummm I am perfectly okay with that. They are coming up for that. And obviously to see people and enjoy company, but that is the perfect excuse to do so, don't you think?
My great friend CWF is also coming up this weekend, but she is coming to visit her boyfriend. Nevertheless, they will be at Camden Yards, and hopefully will get out earlyish (come on, the O's are playing the Red Sox...) and hopefully they will be able to meet up, even if it's for a short period of time.
On a sadder note, Bisby completely killed my black pointy toed heels today. Not happy.
