Today at work I saw a friend of mine from elementary/middle school and it was great just talking to her and catching up (while helping her, of course! Got to do my job!). It was interesting how much easier it was to see her and catch up than it has been with people I went to high school with. I don't know why, but...it's cool. She bought these really cute grey tiny wedge ankle boots, and now I am wondering if grey would look good with a plum colored dress...hmmm.
I have finally finalized my plans for this weekend. Every year my first cousins on my dad's side (the only first cousins I have) have an Oyster Roast in memory of my dad's parents up in the Adirondacks. This is the first time in about 6 or so years I have gone (the past 4 I've missed due to attending college in Virginia). So I am really excited! All three of my siblings are going-my youngest sister is coming over from her college, my other sister lives and works up there, and my brother is coming down from Boston! My aunt is picking me up Friday morning and we are driving up and she is dropping me off at the house, then my brother is coming in on Friday. Then youngest is coming over Saturday morning and we are driving up to the club for the festivities! Apparently everyone ends up crashing at the club on Saturday, so I think my aunt and I will leave from there and grab my stuff on the way home. I wonder if she has satellite radio...I would hate to miss ANOTHER Ravens game!
On a final note, I looked in the mirror earlier and I look like I have two black eyes! My lids, both upper and lower, are so dark and purple looking! I don't know what it is from, I have been getting more sleep than normal actually, and I really don't know what else might cause it. Exercise? That would be horrible. Does anyone know any methods for calming this down/getting rid of this? I don't feel like walking around looking like I've broken my nose or something.
